The 48 V DC motor/generator is attached to the engine
bellhousing with six (6) flange head s crews. Access to
these screws requires the bellhousing andmotor/gener-
ator to be removed from the engine as an assembly. For
recommended procedures to remove the bellhousing
and motor/generator assembly from the engine, see 48
