8. Connect air cleaner and motor/generator intake
hoses to fan shroud and secure with hose clamps (Fig.
9). Torque hose clamps from 30 to 40 in- lb (3.4 to 4.5
N-m).
9. Make sure radiator draincock isclosed (threadedout
fully).
10.Fill radiator and coolant reservoir with c oolant.
11.Lower and secure hood.
12.Carefully position and install oil cooler to radiator
frame. Rotate clamps to secure oil cooler to radiator
frame.
13.Install 12 volt battery (see 12 VDC Battery Service
intheService andRepairs sectionof Chapter5 - Electri-
cal System).
14.Install and latch r ear screen.
