NOTE: The front deck is shown in Figure 6. The idler
assemblies used on the wing decks are very s imilar.
Removal (Fig. 6)
1. Park machine on a level surface with cutting deck
lowered. Stop engine, engage parking brake and re-
move key from the ignition switch.
2. Remove deck covers from top of cutting deck.
3. If removing high idler assembly onfront deck, loosen
jam nuts (item 21) that secure idler stop bolt (item 20) to
cutting deck to allow c learance between high idler arm
and stop bolt.
