NOTE: One way to find a possibly bad reel motor is to
have another person observe the machine while mow-
ing in dense turf. A bad motor will run slower, produce
fewer clippings, and may cause marcelling (or a wash-
board appearance) on the turf.
NOTE: On machines with Serial Numbers below
230000000, the initial reel motor in the cutting circuit is
the left front and the final reel motor drives the rear cut-
ting unit. On machines with Serial Numbers above
230000000, the initial motor is the rear reel motor and
the final reel motor is the left front.
