Kubota Diesel Engine
Clean Radiator and Oil Cooler (Fig. 4)
The radiator and oil cooler should be checked for dirt
and debris daily, and hourly if conditions are extremely
dusty and dirty.
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units,
stop engine, engage parking brake, and remove key
from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
If engine has been running, the radiator may be
hot and cause burns. Work on radiator only when
the engine and radiator are cool.
2. Open engine hood.
3. Clean engine area thoroughly of all dirt and debris.
4. Remove lower shield. Unsnap oil cooler from spring
clip. Pivot cooler out.
5. Clean both sides of oil cooler and radiator area thor-
oughly with water or compressed air.
6. Pivot oil cooler back and snap into position. Install
lower shield. Close hood.
