Traction Drum Removal (Fig. 24)
1. Parkmachineon level surface. Turnkeyswitch to the
OFF position and remove key from the switch. Discon-
nect the battery pack (see Battery Pack Connection in
the General Information section of this chapter).
2. If installed, remove transport wheels (see Transport
Wheels in the Service and Repairs section of Chapter 6
-- Chassis and Controls).
3. Remove handle assembly from machine ( see Han-
dle Assembly in the Service and Repairs section of
Chapter 6 -- Chassis and Controls).
4. Supportboth sides ofmachine frame with jackstands
or suitable blocking to prevent the machine from mov-
ing.
