Lithium Battery Pack
CAUTION
The lithium battery pack contains high voltage
which could burn or electrocute you.
Never attempt to open the battery pack.
Do not place anything in the connector on
the battery pack other than the wire
harness connector that came with the
product.
Use extreme care when handling a battery
pack with a cracked case.
Only use the charger designed for the
battery pack.

Charger Operator’s Manuals for additional information
about lithium battery pack service and handling.
Lithium Battery Pack Removal (Fig. 60)
1. Park machine on level surface and place traction le-
ver in the NEUTRAL position. Turn key switch to the
OFF position and remove key from the switch.
2. Disconnect the battery pack (see Lithium Battery
Pack Connection in the General Information section of
this chapter). Also, disconnect b attery wire harness
6--pin connector from machine wire harness (Fig. 62).
3. Remove the tall nut (item 8 in Fig. 60) that secures
the rear of the battery base to the frame.
4. Loosen, but do not remove, two (2) flange head
screws (item 3 in Fig. 60) and flange nuts (item 4 in Fig.
60) to allow the battery base to pivot.
5. Pivotthe battery base and battery pack until the lock-
ingholesinthebaseandframealign(Fig.63).Inserta
screwdriver or other steel rod through the holes to hold
the battery base in the raised position.
6. Rotate wire harness connector locking collar CCW
and disconnect connector from battery pack (Fig. 64).
CAUTION
Support battery pack to prevent it from falling
and causing personal injury. Battery pack
weighs approximately 54 pounds (24.5 kg).
7. Support the battery pack to prevent it from moving or
falling.
