ENGINE
FROM
TRACTOR
1.
Drain
crankcase
oil.
2.
Remove
tractor
hood
by
spreading
hood
only
far
enough
to
remove
one
pin
at
a
time.
NOTE:
Too
much
deflection
could
cause
the hood
to
crack.
3.
Remov
e
front
grille.
4.
Shut
off
gas
at
sediment
bowl
and
remove
gas
tank.
5.
Disconnect
ground
wire
on
engine
and
coil
w
ire.
NOTE:
C
oil
and
cond
e
nser
comes
Off
with
the en!(ine.
6.
Disconnect
choke
an
d
throttl,,·
control
a
bIes
at
the
engine.
7.
Remove
hydraulic
system
above
cylind
er
he
ad
if
tractor
is
so
equipped.
NOTE:
Do
not
disconnect
hydraulic
lines
unless
hydyaulic
sys-
fern
is
La
be
yepaiyed
also.
8.
Remove
shielding
from
right-hand
side
of
tractor
and
remove
four
e
ngine
base
bolts.
Lift
out
e
ngin
e .

Remove
engine
shrouding,
motor
-generator,
coil
,
condenser,
carburetor,
dipstick
and
oil
filler
tube.
Remove
cylinder
head,
breather
a
ssemhly
and
valves.
