Under
normal
operating

conditions
the
car-

not
require
adjusting.
Ii,
after
a
period
of
time,
the
engine
misses,
backfires,
or
excessive
ex
haust
smoke
is
noticed,
a
djust-
ment

be
requir
ed.
Idle
adjustment
and
high
speed
adjustment
must
be
made
at
the
same
time
as
each
affects
the
o
ther.
Adjust
as
follows:
1.
Run
eng
in
e
until
warm,
then
shut
off.
Turn

gh
speed
mixture
needle
clockwise

closed.
Close
finger

only.

one

2.
Turn
idle
mixture
needle
clockwise
until
closed.
Close
finger
tight
only.
