sure
to
shut
off
gas
connection
and
drain
tank
to
prevent
gas
leakage
when
tractor
is
turn-
ed
upside
down.
Remove
battery,
drain
engine
crankcase
and
plug
hydraulic
reservoir
before
inverting
tractor.

Remove
muffler
and
disconnect
safety
switch
leads.
Remove
belt
guards,
belt
guide,
hydraulic
drive
belt
and
mower
drive
if
tractor
is
so
equipped.
Move
variable
speed
control
lever
for-
ward
(fast
speed
position).
Turn
engine
over
slightly
until
variator
is
fully
back.
Then
raise
secondary
idler
and
slip
secondary
belt
off
vari-
ator
sheave.

belt
is

depress
clutch-brake
pedal
and
lock
park-
ing
brake
to
hold
variator
forward.

Reverse
above
procedure
to
install
new
pri-
mary
belt.
