POWER SPECIFICATIONS
This sections describes the following power specifications for the autoloader:
AC input voltages and power consumption
Power cord specifications
AC INPUT VOLTAGES AND POWER CONSUMPTION
The autoloader includes an internal power supply that is capable of accepting
100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. The autoloader has automatic AC input voltage
selection. The autoloader is capable of continuous operation when the AC
power experiences intermittent operation, voltage surges, and voltage spikes.
The maximum operating power consumption for the autoloader is
70 Watts RMS.
POWER CORD SPECIFICATIONS
The autoloader is shipped with two power cords: One for use in the US and
Canada, and one for use in Europe.
The US/Canada power cord is a 2.3-meter (7.5-foot), three-conductor, 18 AWG
power cord for 120-volt use. The power cord has a molded NEMA 5-15P male
connector on one end and a molded IEC 320/EN60320 female connector on the
other end. The power cord is UL Listed and CSA Certified.
The European power cord is a 2.5-meter (8.2-foot) power cord for 230 to
250-volt use. The power cord has a CEE 7 Standard VII, dual earthing male
connector on one end, and an IEC 320 C13 female connector on the other end.
The cordage is CENELEC HD-21. The power cord is VDE approved.
Requirements for International 220 VAC Power Cord
If you plan to use the autoloader in a location other than the US/Canada or
Europe, you must supply a power cord that meets the following specifications:
The power cord must have a grounded attachment plug of the proper type,
rating, and safety approval for the intended country.
The power cord must have an IEC 320/EN60320 female connector on one
end.
The cordage must be harmonized to CENELEC publication HD-21. The
electrical characteristics and rating must be minimum H05VVF3G1.00 (10 A).
