Engine Removal (Fig. 9)
1. Parkmachineon alevelsurface, disengage and low-
er cutting units, move functional control lever to neutral
(N), engage parking brake, stop the engine and remove
the key from the ignition switch. Wait for all machine
movement to stop.
CAUTION
The engine and exhaust system may be hot.
Avoid possible b urns, allow engine and exhaust
system to cool before working on the engine.
DANGER
Gasoline isflammable. Usecautionwhen storing
or handling it. Do not smoke while filling the fuel
tank. Do not fill fuel tank while engine is running
or in an enclosed area. Always fill fuel tank out-
side and wipe up any spilled fuel before starting
the engine. Store fuel in a clean, safety--ap-
proved container and keep the cap in place. Use
gasoline for the engine only; not for any other
purpose.
