40 GPM Hydraulic Tester (Pressure and Flow)
Use to test hydraulic circuits and components for flow
and pressure capacities asrecommended in the Testing
section of this chapter. This tester includes the following:
1. LOAD VALVE: A simulated working load is created
in the circuit by turning the valve to restrict flow.
2. PRESSURE GAUGE: Glycerine filled 0 to 5000 PSI
gauge to provide operating circuit pressure.
3. FLOW METER: This meter measures actual oil flow
intheoperatingcircuitwithagaugeratedfrom4to40
GPM (20 to 150 LPM).

Traction Circuit Hydraulic Diagnostic Fittings
To measure traction charge pressure, reverse traction
circuit reducing valve pressure or rear traction circuit re-
lief valve pressure, a diagnostic fitting is required. To
measure reverse traction relief pressure, two (2) fittings
and a diagnostic test fitting are needed. The fittings can
be temporarily installed into the appropriate component
port to allow pressures to be measured. Refer to the
Testing section of this chapter for necessary test pro-
cedures when using these diagnostic fittings.
