The engine cooling fan motor has similar construction
as the cutting deck motors. The body of the cooling fan
motor (item 11 in Fig. 105) includes the rear cover which
is a difference from the deck motors which have asepar-
ate rear cover. Orientation of the dust seal (item 4 inFig.
105) is different in the cooling fan motor than in the deck
motors.
For disassembly, inspection and assembly procedures
of the cooling fan motor, refer to Cutting DeckMotor Ser-
vice in this section. When installing the seals into the
front flange in the cooling fan motor, use the orientation
shown in Figure 106.
