Cutting Deck Lift/Lower Problems
NOTE: Check InfoCenter Display for possible operator
advisories or faults whenever diagnosing machine elec-
trical problems.
NOTE: Toloweracuttingdeck,theoperatormustbein
the operator seat and the traction speed must be in the
LOW speed (mow) position. To raise a cutting deck, the
operator must be in the operator seat.
Problem
Possible Causes
None of the cutting decks will lower and Operator
Advisory is displayed on InfoCenter (see Operator
Advisory list in this section).
The HI/LOW speed switch is in the HI speed position.
Operator is not fully depressing the seat switch.
None of the cutting decks will lower and no Operator
Advisory is displayed on InfoCenter
Fuse(s) for TEC controller are faulty.
The seat switch or circuit wiring is faulty.
The HI/LOW speed switch or circuit wiring is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4500--D, lift switch or circuit wiring
is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4500--D, lift control manifold
solenoid coil S6 or circuit wiring is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4700--D, all lift switches or circuit
wiring are faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4700--D, lift control manifold
solenoid coil S1 or circuit wiring is faulty.
A hydraulic problem in the lift/lower circuit exists (see
Troubleshooting section in Chapter 4 - Hydraulic
System).
The TEC--5002 controller is faulty.
None of the cutting decks will raise. Fuse(s) for TEC controller are faulty.
The seat switch or circuit wiring is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4500--D, lift switch or circuit wiring
is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4500--D, lift control manifold
solenoid coil S5 or circuit wiring is faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4700--D, all lift switches or circuit
wiring are faulty.
On Groundsmaster 4700--D, lift control manifold
solenoid coil S1 or circuit wiring is faulty.
A hydraulic problem in the lift/lower circuit exists (see
Troubleshooting section in Chapter 4 - Hydraulic
System).
The TEC--5002 controller is faulty.
