Diode Assembly (Greensmaster 3420)
The G reensmaster 3420 wire harness contains a diode
that is used for circuit protection from voltage spikes
when the engine starter solenoid is de- energized. The
diodeplugs intothe wire harnessin theenginearea(see

Diode Test
The diode (Fig. 93) can be individually tested using a
digital multimeter (diode test or ohms setting) and the
table to the right.
