This procedure describes how to remove these modules:
H 5 V Power Supply
H 12 V Power Supply
H Power Switch
H RFI Filter
1. Assemble equipment and locate modules to be removed:
a. You need a screwdriver with a size #2 Phillips tip
(Items 1 and 3).
b. Locate the module to be removed in the locator diagram Internal
modules, Figure 6-3, page 6-14.
2. Orient instrument: Set the MPEG generator so its bottom is down on the
work surface and its front is facing you.
3. Remove the power supply unit: See Figure 6-16.
a. Remove the A10 Main board as described on page 6-37.
b. Unplug the power cables from J030 and J040 on the A40 board, and then
loosen the four screws on J041 and disconnect the four cables.
c. Remove the two screws securing the power supply unit to the rear of the
chassis.
d. Remove the two screws securing the power supply unit to the bottom of
the chassis.
e. Lift the unit up out of the chassis to complete removal.
