The settings in these dialogs can be modified or customized to meet your com-
munications requirements.
General Tab
The General tab is the first tab displayed on the XFER32 Setup dialog box. Use
this section to modify the PDT’s
Connection, Baud Rate, Flow Control, Proto-
col
(ACK/NAK is the only protocol used by the PT40), and Maximum Errors.
Window Size and Crash Recovery are not supported by the PT40.

Connection Enter the
Connection port for file transfers. Select from the list of
detected serial ports or modems.
Baud Rate Select a
Baud Rate for serial communications
from the pull-down list. The default value for
XFER32 is
19200. The default value for the
PT40 is 9600.
Note: The PT40 supports only baud rates
up to
38400.
