Changing the Volume and Pan settings of a Part
Here, we’ll change the Volume and Pan settings of one Part’s Voice.
Operation
1 Select the desired Part.
Use the [PART -/+] buttons to select Part 1.
2 Select the desired control.
Use the [SELECT </>] buttons to select the Volume control.
3 Change the setting.
Use the [VALUE -/+] buttons or data dial, and play the key-
board as you edit so you can hear the change in the sound.
Now, let’s change the Pan setting for the Part:
4 Select the desired control.
Use the [SELECT </>] buttons to select the Pan control.
5 Change the setting.
Use the [VALUE -/+] buttons or data dial to change the set-
ting, and play the keyboard again as you make changes.
6 Return to “home base.”
Pressing the [EXIT] button from any of the Single Part controls
automatically returns to the Voice name/program number dis-
play. This is a convenient way to instantly return to “home base”
from a “distant” control.
