BATTERIES, DISCONNECT THE

POSITIVE (RED) CABLE FIRST, THEN
THE NEGATIVE (BLACK). THIS WILL
REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF
SPARKING AND BATTERY EXPLOSION.
WARNING: ALL BATTERIES GENERATE
HYDROGEN GAS, WHICH IS HIGHLY
FLAMMABLE. IF IGNITED BY A SPARK
OR FLAME, THE GAS MAY EXPLODE
VIOLENTLY CAUSING A SPRAY OF ACID,
FRAGMENTATION OF THE BATTERY,
AND POSSIBLE SEVERE PERSONAL
INJURY, PARTICULARLY TO THE EYES.
THEREFORE, AS A SAFETY
PRECAUTION:
WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND
GOGGLES.
DO NOT SMOKE OR EXPOSE THE
BATTERY TO OPEN FLAME.
DO NOT CONNECT OR DISCONNECT
LIVE CIRCUITS.
FOLLOW THE CONNECTION
PROCEDURE AS OUTLINED ABOVE.
