IMPORTANT: Before plugging the wire harness
power connector to the engine ECM, make sure that
the ignition switchisin the OFFposition and thekey
is removed from the switch. If the harness power
connector is plugged into the engine ECM while
electrical power is on, the ECM will be damaged.
13.Connect thewireharnesspowerconnectortothe en-
gine ECM (Fig. 45).
14.Disconnect pressure gauge from charge pressure
test port (Fig. 46).
15.Start engine and let it run at low idle (1350 RPM) for
a minimum of 2 minutes. Increase engine speed to high
idle (2750 RPM) for a minimum of 1 minute under no
load.
16.Raise and lower cutting decks several times. Turn
steering wheel fully left and right several times.
17.Shut offengineandcheckentiremachineforhydrau-
licoilleaks. Checkoillevelin hydraulic reservoir andadd
correct amount of oil if necessary.
18.Operate machine for 2 hours undernormal operating
conditions.
19.Check condition of hydraulic oil. If the new fluid
shows any signs of contamination, repeat steps 1
through 14 again until oil is clean.
20.Assume normal operation and follow recommended
maintenance intervals.
