Field Description
Transaction Type The transaction type field is a dropdown list.
The available transactions types for the currently
displayed transaction will be listed in the
dropdown menu. For more information on
transaction types, please see “
Transaction
Types
” on page 53.
Amount The Amount field displays the amount to be
charged to the customer’s credit card. The
amount will be auto filled from the previous
screen or will be the amount remaining on
account for the current document.
Card Type The card type field displays the customer’s type
of credit card as defined in the AssureBuy Credit
Card Setup table. The lookup icon to the right of
the field allows the user to select from the valid
credit card types. If the credit card type is not a
valid type, the credit card setup window will
display as soon as the user attempts to tab off
the field.
Caution: Before entering the credit card type
into the credit card setup window, the user
needs to be sure that the company has a valid
merchant account for that card type, the card
type has been added to their main merchant
account, and AssureBuy has been notified so
the card type can be added to the acceptable
card types on the payment gateway.
