Foot Brake
The foot brake pedal (5) is located in the lower right
corner of the operator’s console near the cab floor. The
pedal should be depressed to bring the tractor to a
stop once the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
CAUTION: KEEP THE CAB FLOOR AREA FREE FROM
DEBRIS OR OBJECTS WHICH MAY OBSTRUCT THE
OPERATION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL. KEEP THE
PEDAL CLEAN AND DRY TO PREVENT YOUR FOOT
FROM SLIPPING OFF THE PEDAL.
DANGER: NEVER LEAVE THE OPERATOR’S SEAT
WITHOUT FIRST BRINGING THE TRACTOR TO A
COMPLETE STOP USING THE FOOT BRAKE, AND
THEN ENGAGING THE PARKING BRAKE.
DANGER: NEVER OPERATE THE TRACTOR IF THE
FOOT OR PARKING BRAKE DOES NOT FUNCTION
PROPERLY.
DANGER: NEVER RELY SOLELY ON THE
TRANSMISSION TO HOLD THE TRACTOR
STATIONARY WHEN PARKED; ALWAYS ENGAGE
THE PARKING BRAKE.
Decelerator Pedal
At the lower front of the right console is the decelerator
pedal (6) which can be used to reduce engine speed
when turning or while shifting. Fully depressing the
decelerator pedal will reduce the engine to an idle
speed of 1400 RPM. If the pedal is not fully depressed,
engine speed will be reduced proportionally. When
the pedal is released, engine speed will return to the
previous throttle setting.
IMPORTANT: Do not release the decelerator before
completing the turn. If the transmission is in a high
gear, the tractor will accelerate quickly, reducing the
time to correct tractor direction.
