When to use *TRG and GET
The *TRG and the GET commands have
the same effect on the instrument. If the
Counter is in idle, i.e., not parsing or exe

cuting any commands, GET will execute
much ( 20 µs) faster than *TRG
( 4 ms) since the instrument must al

ways parse *TRG.
