DESCRIPTION OF DX8100 CLIENT SOFTWARE
The DX8100 version 2.0 Client application allows operators and HVRs to be geographically dispersed. One computer client application can
connect simultaneously with up to 200 HVR/DVR servers (version 2.0 or earlier). Up to 200 server sites can be added to the Connection List. For
more information about the Connection List, refer to Connecting to DX8100 HVR Server Sites on page 20.
The Client application facilitates
Remote viewing of live and playback video
Index, thumbnail, POS, and pixel searching
Exporting to a variety of media and formats
Printing still images from video
Limited remote control and administration
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The following minimum system requirements are needed to operate the DX8100 Client, Emergency Agent, and the DX8100 Viewer software:

Pelco recommends that the fade effect and shadow option for menus and tooltips be deselected. Any time these display effects are active, the
CPU usage increases and impacts system performance.
