Place the saw on the ground and insert a foot in
the rear handle. Grasp the front handle firmly
with your left hand and hold the starter handle
in your right hand. Make sure that the chain
cannot cut into brushwood or the like when the
saw starts.
Ensure that the starter is engaged and give it a
short sharp tug. Do not release the starter handle
but allow it to pull your hand back to the saw.
Push the choke in as soon as the engine fires.
If the engine does not fire after three or four
attempts to start, the choke should be pushed in
as the engine will otherwise suck in too much
fuel and wet the plug.
Repeat the starting procedure without using the
choke.
When the engine starts move the throttle lever
back to release the starting throttle ratchet.

griff in die rechte Hand nehmen. Darauf achten,
class die Sage beim Anspringen des Motors nicht
Reisig oder andere Gegenstande streifen kann.
Kontrollieren, ob die Anwerfvorrichtung eingreift
und kurz am Seil ziehen. Den Anwerfgriff nicht
Ioslassen, wahrend das Seil wieder aufgewickelt
wird.
Sobald der Motor anspringt, die Startklappe off-
nen.
Wenn der Motor bei drei oder vier Startversuchen
nicht zundet, ist die Startklappe zu offnen, sonst
erhalt der Motor zuviel Kraftstoff.
Startversuch bei geoffneter Startklappe wieder-
holen.
Wenn der Motor anspringt, den Gashebel eir~druk-
ken, so class er von der Startgassperre losgelas-
sen wird.
Posez la tron~onneuse sur Ie sol et engagez un
pied clans la poignee arriere, Saisissez solidement
la poignee avant de la main gauche et la poignee
de Iancement de la main droite.
Assurez-vous que la chaine ne risque pas de
mordre clans des branchages ou tout autre objet
une fois la tron$onneuse en marche.
Verifiez que Ie demarreur enclenche et tirez d’un
coup sec sur la cordelette de Iancement. Lors du
retour de la poignee de Iancement, accompagnez-
Ia de la main.
Des que Ie moteur demarre, enfoncez la com-
mande du starter,
Si Ie moteur ne demarre pas au troisieme ou
quatrieme essai, enfoncez la commande du star-
ter, afin de ne pas noyer Ie moteur.
Essayez alors de nouveau de mettre Ie moteur
en marche, mais saris starter.
Lorsque Ie moteur demarre, appuyez sur la
commande des gaz, pour Iiberer Ie blocage de-
marrage.
