Fuel and oil
The engine in model 1100 CD is a two-stroke
and obtains its lubrication from the oil that is
blended with the petrol. See the section on fuel
and lubrication. Use regular petrol (90–94 octane)
and a good-quality two-stroke oil. Special chain
lubricating oil should also be used,
Fill up the petrol tank and the oil tank at the
same time. Their capacities are such that they
should both last for about the same length of
time.
Kraftstoff und 01
Die Motorsage 1100 CD wird von einem Zweitakt-
motor angetrieben. Fur die Schmierung muss dem
Benzin ~1 zugesetzt werden. Siehe den Abschnitt
tiber Kraftstoff und Schmierung. Benzin mit der
Oktanzahl 90–94 und ein gutes Zweitaktol ver-
wenden. Fur die Kette wird ein spezielles Ketten-
schmierol benotigt.
Benzin- und Ultank gleichzeitig fullen. Der Inhalt
beider Behalter reicht ungefahr gleich tang.
Carburant et huile
La 1100 CD est equipee d’un moteur 2 temps,
dent la Iubrification est assuree par I’intermediaire
d’huile melangee a I’essence. Voir: “Carburant
et Iubrification ”.
Pour ce melange, utilisez de
I’essence a 90–94 d’octane et une huile 2
temps de bonne qualite. Pour la Iubrification de
la chaine, il convient de choisir une huile speciale.
Procedez en m~me temps au remplissage des
reservoirs d’essence et d’huile. Ils sent en effet
dimensionnes de maniere a correspondre a une
duree d’utilisation approximativement identique.
Starting the chain saw
Cold engine
Pull out the choke and set the throttle to the
starting position. First press in the throttle safety
catch, open the throttle fully and press in the
starting throttle ratchet. Then release the throttle
lever.

Die Startklappe schliessen und die Startgassperre
betatigen. Zuerst die Gashebelsperre eindrucken,
Vollgas geben und die Startgassperre nieder-
drticken. Dann den Gashebel Ioslassen.

Moteur froid
Tirez sur Ie starter et enclenchez Ie blocage
demarrage. Enfoncez tout d’abord Ie blocage des
gaz, puis mettez en position plein gaz et enfoncez
Ie blocage d~marrage. L5chez ensuite la com-
mande des gaz.
