Replacing the
Line Fuse
The value of the line fuse used in the 681XXC is de
-
termined by the line voltage selection—a 5A type T
line fuse for 110 Vac line voltage; a 2.5A type T line
fuse for 220 Vac line voltage. These line fuse values
are printed on the rear panel next to the fuse holder.
Step 1 Disconnect the 681XXC from the power
source.
Step 2 Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, turn
the fuse cap counter-clockwise and re

move the fuse holder.

MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE
Before changing the fuse, always remove the power cord
from the power outlet. There is the risk of receiving a fatal
electric shock if the fuse is replaced with the power cord con
-
nected.
Always use a new fuse of the type and rating specified by
the fuse markings on the rear panel of the instrument.
