4. Set up the AFG to output a 1 MHz sinewave with an external gate
source:
TRIG:GATE:SOUR EXT; External gate source
:TRIG:GATE:STAT ON; Enable gate
:FREQ 1E6; Set freq to 1 MHz
:VOLT 4VPP Set AFG amplitude
INIT:IMM Initiate

Send the following command to the Command Module to set the
level at the "Trig Out" port to 5 V. Verify that the scope shows a 1
MHz sinewave.

6.
Send the following command to the Command Module to set the
level at the "Trig Out" port to 0 V. Verify that the scope shows a DC
signal.
