Operation
correct amount of gas stabilizer/conditioner to
the gas.
Note: A fuel stabilizer/conditioner is most effective
when mixed with fresh gasoline. To minimize the
chance of varnish deposits in the fuel system, use fuel
stabilizer at all times.
Filling the Fuel Tank
Make sure the engine is shut off and the motion
controls are in the park position. Tank maximum
capacity is 2.9 gallons.
Important: Do Not overll fuel tank. Fill the
fuel tank to the bottom of the ller neck. The
empty space in the tank allows the fuel to expand.
Overlling may result in fuel leakage or damage
to the engine or emission system.
1. Shut the engine off and move the motion controls
outward to engage parking brake.
2. Clean around the fuel tank cap and remove the
cap.
3. Add unleaded regular gasoline until the fuel
reaches the base of the ller neck and does not
ll the neck of the tank (
Figure 7). This space
at the base of the ller neck allows gasoline to
expand. Do Not ll the fuel tank completely full.
Overlling may result in fuel leakage or damage
to the engine or emissions system.
