Soma adjustmentswill need to be made
periodically to properlymaintain your
tractor.
All adjustmentsin the Service and
Adjustmentssection of this manual should
be checked at least once eachseason.
• Once a year you shouldreplace the
spark plug,clean or replace air filter,and
check blades and beltsforwear. A new
spark plugand clean air filterassure
properair-fuel mixtureand help your
engine run betterand last longer.
BEFORE EACH USE
1. Check engine oil level.
2. Check brake operation.
3. Check tire pressure.
4. Check operator presence and
interlocksystems for proper operation.
5. Check for loose fasteners.

points which have special nylon bearings.
Viscous lubricantswill attract dust and dirt
that will shorten the lifeof the self-lubricaJJng
bearings. If youfeel they must be lubricated,
use only a dry, powdered graphite type
21 lubricant sparingly.
