Ammeter
Theammetermeasurestheelectricaloutputof the
engine'schargingsystem.Undernormaloperating
conditions,withengineatfull throttle,theammeter
shouldindicatepositivecharge. SeeFigure11.

LCD
Locatedinthecenterof thetractor'sconsole,the
systemsindicatormonitorrecords,anddisplays on its
LCD,hoursoftractoroperationwhenevertheignition
keyisrotatedout oftheSTOPposition.
TheIndicatorMonitorwillalso remindthe operatorof
maintenanceintervalsfor changingtheengineoil. The
LCDwillalternatelyflashtherecordedhours,"CHG"and
"OIL"for fiveminutes,afterevery50 hoursof recorded
operationelapse.The maintenanceintervallastsfor
twohours(from50-52,100-102,150-152,etc.).The
LCDwillalsoflashas describedaboveforfiveminutes
everytimethetractor'senginehasbeenstartedduring
thismaintenanceinterval.Beforethe intervalexpires,
changethe crankcaseoil levelasinstructedin this
Operator'sManual.
Onmodelsequippedwitha manualPTO(BladeEngage),
thePTO(BladeEngage)leveris locatedontheleft sideof
thedashboardnextto thesteeringwheel.MovethePTO
(BladeEngage)leverforwardtoengagethe powertothe
cuttingdeckor other(separatelyavailable)attachments;
movethePTO(BladeEngage)leverrearwardto disen-
gagethepowertothe attachments.
NOTE:ThePTO(BladeEngage)levermust beinthe

Seat Adjustment Lever (If Equipped)
Toadjusttheseatforwardorbackwardon unitsequipped
witha quick-adjustseat,slidethe seatadjustmentlever
tothe leftand repositiontheseattothe desiredposition.
Oncea comfortablepositionis found,releasetheseat
adjustmentleverto lockthe seatinplace.Referto the
AdjustingYourLawnTractorsectiond this manualfor
moredetailedinstructionson all seatadjustments.
Battery Deck Lift Lever
It isnormalfortheBatterylightto illuminatewhilethe Foundon yourtractor'srightfender,thedecklift leveris
engineiscrankingduringstart-up,but ifitilluminate's usedto changethe heightof thecuttingdeck.Touse,
duringoperation,while the engine isrunning, the movetheleverto theleft,thenplaceinthe notchbest
batteryisinneedofa chargeortheengine'scharging suitedforyourapplication.
