especiallyafter you'vestrucka foreignobject.Do notoperatethe
machineuntil damagedcomponentsarereplaced.
To removetheblades,proceedas follows:
1. Removethe deckfrombeneaththe tractor,(referto CuttingDeck
Removalearlierin thissection)thengentlyflip thedeckoverto
exposeits underside.
2. Placea blockof woodbetweenthe centerdeckhousingbaffle
andthe cuttingbladeto actas a stabilizer.See Figure17.

3. Removethe hexflangenut thatsecuresthebladetothespindle

11. Whileholdingthe beltandpulleytogether,rotatethepulleyto the
left(See Figure16).Continueholdingandrotatingthepulleyand
belt untilthe beltis fullyrolledinto thePTOpulley.
