CHANGING THE DECK BELT
TheV-beltsfoundon yourtractorarespeciallydesignedtoengage
anddisengagesafely.A substitute(non-OEM)V-beltcan bedanger-
ous bynotdisengagingcompletely.Fora properworkingmachine,
use factoryapprovedbeltsas listedin the PartsListmanualincluded
withthis product..
All beltsonyourtractoraresubjectto wearandshouldbereplacedif
any signsofweararepresent.Tochangeor replacethe deckbelton
yourtractor,proceedasfollows:
1. Removethe deckasinstructedon page20.
2. Removethe beltcoversfromtheouter spindlesby removingthe
hexscrewsthatfastenthemto thedeck.SeeFigure14.
