5. Switch on the Calibrator/Source and let it warm up for
at least one hour.
6. Set the Calibrator/Source to output 30 ±0.05 microamps.
7. Adjust potentiometer, R25 (Figure 15, page 21), until
the RF Power Analyst Displays 1000 ±5.
Element Wiper Contact Adjustment
Continuous insertion or rotation of the element might
cause a slight change in the position of the contact
spring in the element socket. If the contact spring
changes position, you might experience erratic power
readings.
You can use a small screwdriver to adjust the position
of the contact spring. Be careful not to bend the spring
out so far that it interferes with insertion of the
elements.

If the element cannot be fully inserted into the
socket, do not force it. You might damage the
element.
