z Ensure that paper specifications are within the recommended
range (page 254
).
z Verify that the paper type configured in the printer control panel for
Tray 4 matches the paper loaded in Tray 4 (page 84
).
z A tray might have been pulled out during printing.
z Check cables and connectors between the tray and the printer.

z Remove and reconnect the power cord if it is not firmly plugged
into the computer.
z Make sure trays are correctly loaded.
z Make sure the paper guides are adjusted properly, and not skewed
