Installing the XW Automatic Generator Start

Type 7
Type 7 will work with both two-wire and three-wire run mode
configurations that require a preheat signal before cranking, such as
Generac Backup/Renewable generators. This Gen Type setting is suitable
for generators with an automatic engine cranking control system (two-
wire) and generators that require that the XW Auto Generator Start control
their starter separately (three-wire).
