MAINTENANCE
DAILY INSPECTION
Before running the generator, check the following service items:
Excessive vibration,noise
Clean air cleaner element
Safe surroundings
Enough clean engine oil
AC and DC terminals for damage
Leakage of fuel and engine oil
Loose or broken bolts and nuts
Enough fuel
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Periodic maintenance is vital to safe and efficient operation of your generator.
Check the table below for periodic maintenance intervals.
Only carry out maintenance work with the engine switched off.
Observe all relevant laws and regulations governing the handling and disposal of used
oil, filters and cleaning agents.
Protect the starting key against unauthorised use.
On engines with an electric starter, disconnect the battery's negative terminal.
When maintenance work has been completed, check that all tools have been removed
from the engine and all protective guards fitted again.
Before starting the engine, ensure that there are no persons in the danger area close to
the engine or equipment.
