OPERATION
Mower Storage
Properly preparing and storing the mower at the end of the season is critical to maintaining its appearance and to help
ensure years of dependable service. The following are suggested storage procedures:
• Thoroughly clean all debris off the mower to
prevent damage from rotting grass and
standing water.
• Lubricate all mower grease points and fill
gearbox oil levels as detailed in the
maintenance section.
• Tighten all bolts and pins to the
recommended torque.
• Check the mower for worn and damaged
parts. Perform repairs and make replacements
immediately so that the mower will be ready
for use at the start of the next season.
• Store the mower in a clean, dry place with
the mower housing resting securely on blocks
or at ground level.
• Keep the driveline yoke from sitting in water,
dirt and other contaminants.
• Use spray touch-up enamel where necessary
to prevent rust and maintain the appearance
of the mower. OPS-R-0032_D
