CAUSE
1 Shifting procedure incorrect.
2 Tractor ddve belt and/or brake out of adjustment

CORRECTION
1 Check shifting procedure Unit MUST come to a
complete stop before changing directions
2 Check adjustment of traclor drive belt and/or brake
Adjust if necessary
3. Contact Sears Service Department,

1 Replace blade Tighten blade bolt
2, Replace blade mandrel,
3, Clean underside of mower housing.
1 Remove obstruction
2. Adjust mower drive belt
3 Replace mower drive belt
4, Replace idler pulley
1. Clean underside ofmower housing
2 Allow grass to dry before mowing,
3, Place throttle control in "FAST" position
4.. Shift to slower speed
5, Set cutting height to higher setting,, Then re-cut at
normal setting,
6, Level mower deck
7, Check tiresfor proper air pressure
8, Replacetsharpen blade Tighten blade bol!
9. Replace/adiust mower drive belt
