o Place shift control lever in NEUTRAL position,
e Tryto push tractor "Youshould be able to push when shift
control lever is in neutral position If you cannot push
,,tractor,adjust as fotiows
e Locate neutra! position with shift control lever
e Loosen screw'A' on shift bracket on top of transaxle
e Place shift control lever into the neutral slot
e Tighten screw 'AL
e Re-check adjustment as described above
NOTE: You should not be able to push tractor when shift control
lever iSin reverse or a forward range position,,

TO REMOVE WHEEL FOR REPAIRS
(See Figs. 37A and 37B)
e Block up axle securely,
e On front wheels, remove hub cap, retaining ring and
washer(s)to remove wheel,
• On rear wheels, remove hub cap and bolts to remove
wheel,
e Repair tire and re-assemble
e On rear wheels,alignholes and reinstaflbolts, Torque bolts
to 50 ft Ibs
• On front wheels, replace washer(s), and retaining ring
e Replace hubcaps.
