Front and Rear Guard Installations

DANGER
Rotary Cutters have the ability to discharge objects at high
speeds; therefore, the use of front and rear safety guards is
strongly recommended when cutting along highways or in
areas where people may be present.
Front Rubber Guard
Refer to Figure 2-1:
1. Install front rubber guards (#4 & #5) as shown with
3/8"-16 x 1" GR5 carriage bolts (#2), front deflector
strap (#1), and hex locknuts (#3).
2. Tighten all nuts to the correct torque.

Refer to Figure 2-2:
1. Install front chain guard (#1) as shown with
3/8"-16 x 1" GR5 carriage bolts (#2), and hex
locknuts (#3).
2. Tighten all nuts to the correct torque.
