Adjustseat beforetighteningadjustment
knob.
1. Removeadjustmentknob and flat
washersecuringseat to cardboard
packingand set asidefor assemblyof
seatto tractor.
2. Pivotseat upwardand removefrom
the cardboardpacking.Remove the
cardboardpackingand discard.
3. Placeseat on seat panso head of
shoulderboltis positionedover large
slottedholein pan.
• 4. Pushdownon seat to engage
shoulderboltin slotand pullseat
towardsrearof tractor.
5. Pivotseat and pan forward and
assembleadjustmentknoband flat
washerloosely.Do nottighten.
6. Lowerseat intooperatingpositionand
sitinseat.
7. Slideseat untila comfortableposition
is reachedwhichallowsyouto press
clutch/brakepedalall the way down.
8. Get offseatwithoutmovingits
adjustedposition.
8. Raise seat and tightenadjustment
knobsecurely.

1. Pressliftlever plungerand raise
attachmentliftlevertoitshighest
position.
2. Release parkingbrake by depressing
clutch/brakepedal.
3. Place freewheelcontrolin freewheel-
ing positionto disengagetransmis-
sion(See "TOTRANSPORT"inthe
Operationsectionof thismanual).
4. Rolltractorforwardoffskid.
5.Remove bandingholdingdeflector
shieldup againsttractor.

suretractoris ina well-ventilatedarea. Be
surethe area in front of tractorisclearof
otherpeopleand objects.
t. Be sure all theaboveassemblysteps
have been completed.
2. Check engineoillevel and fillfuel
tankwithgasoline.
3. Placefreewheel controlin 'transmis-
sion engaged"position.
4. Siton seat in operatingposition,
depressclutch/brakepedaland set
theparkingbrake.
5. Placemotioncontrolleverin neutral
(N) position.
6. Pressliftlever plungerand raise
attachmentliftleverto itshighest
position.
7. Startthe engine.Afterenginehas
started,movethrottlecontroltoidle
position.
8. Release parkingbrake.
9. Slowlymovethe motioncontrollever
forward and slowly drivetractoroff
skid.
10,Applybraketo stoptractor,set parking
brake and placemotioncontrollever
in neutralposition.
11,Turn ignitionkeyto "OFF"position.
