SLOPE OPERATION
Slopesare a majorfactor relatedto loss-

it, donot mowit.
DO:
• Mow upand downslopes,notacross.
• Removeobstaclessuchas rocks,tree
limbs,etc.
• Watchforholes,ruts,orbumps.Uneven
terraincouldovertumthemachine.Tall
grasscan hideobstacles.
• Use slowspeed. Choosea lowgearso
that youwillnothavetostopor shift
whileon the slope.
• Followthe manufacturer'srecommen-
dationsfor wheelweightsorcounter-
weightsto improvestability.
• Use extracare withgrasscatchersor
otherattachments.These can change
the stabilityof the machine.
• Keepall movementon theslopesslow
andgradual.Donot makesudden
changesinspeedordirection.
