PowerRatings:The gross power rating for individual gas engine models is labeledin accordancewith SAE(Societyof
Automotive Engineers)codeJ1940 (Small EnginePower & Torque Rating Procedure),and rating performancehasbeen
obtained and corrected in accordancewith SAEJ1995 (Revision 2002-05). Torquevalues arederived at 3060 RPIVI;horsepower
valuesare derivedat 3600 RPIVI.Actual gross enginepower will be lower and is affected by, among otherthings, ambient
operating conditions and engine-to-enginevariability. Givenboth the wide arrayof products on which enginesare placed and
the variety of environmentalissuesapplicableto operatingthe equipment, the gas enginewill not developthe rated gross power
when used in a given pieceof power equipment (actual "on-site"or net power). This difference is dueto a variety of factors
including, but not limited to, accessories (air cleaner, exhaust, charging, cooling, carburetor, fuel pump, etc.), application
limitations, ambient operatingconditions (temperature, humidity, altitude), and engine-to-enginevariability. Due to
manufacturing and capacity limitations, Briggs & Stratton may substitute an engine of higher rated power for this Series engine.
* This generator is rated in accordancewith CSA(CanadianStandardsAssociation) standard C22.2No. 100-04 (motors and
generators).
