BEFORE STARTING
• YourVacSystemengineisshippedwithoutoilorgasoline.
Service the engine with oil and gas as instructed in the
separate engine manual.
• InspecttheVacSystemtomakesureallcovers(rear
door,vinylboot,elbow,hoseadapter,hoseanddeck
adapter are properly attached.
• Checktiresforproperination(printedontire).
HOW TO STOP YOUR VAC SYSTEM
• Tostopengine,movethethrottlecontrollevertothe
OFF position.
• Disconnect spark plug wire from plug to prevent
accidental starting while equipment is unattended or
isbeingworkedon.
WARNING: Neverllfueltankindoors,with
the engine running, or while the engine is
hot.Donotsmokewhilellingtank.
CAUTION: Alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol
or methanol) can attract moisture which leads to separation and
formation of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the fuel
system of an engine while in storage.
To avoid engine problems, the fuel system should be emptied
beforestoragefor30daysorlonger.Drainthegastank,startthe
engine and let it run until the fuel lines and carburetor are empty.
