Outdoor P roducts N .A., Inc., warrants tothe
original consumer purchaser that each new
Poulan brand gasoline chain saw is free
from defects in material and workmanship
and agrees to repair or replace under this
warranty any defective gasoline chain saw
asfollowsfromtheoriginaldateofpurchase.
1 YEAR -- Parts and Labor, when usedfor
household purposes.
60 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, w hen used for
commercial, professional, or income pro-
ducing purposes.
30DAYS-- PartsandLabor,ifusedforrental
purposes.
This warranty is not transferable anddoes not
cover damage or liability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenance or alteration,
or the use of accessories and/or attachments
not specifically recommended by Poulan for
this chain saw. This warranty does not cover
tune--up, spark plugs, filters, starter ropes,
chain sharpening,bars,chains,andotherparts
which wear and require replacement with rea-
sonable use during the warranty period. This
warranty does not cover p redelivery setup,
installation of guide bar and chain, and normal
adjustments explained inthe i nstructionmanu-
al such as chain te n si o n ad justmen t s. T h i s
warranty does not cover transportation costs.
Inthee ventyouhaveaclaimunderthiswar-
ranty, you m ust return the product to a n au-
thorized service dealer.

temwarranty onyouryear2010andlatersmall
off--road eng ine.In California, a ll smallof f--road
engines must bedesigned,built, andequipped
tomeetth eState’s str ingent anti--smog stan-
dards. Poulan must warrant the emission
controlsystemonyoursmallof f--roadengine
for the periods of timelisted belowprovided
therehasbeennoabuse,neglect,orimprop-
er maintenance of your small off--road en-
gine. You r emissio n co ntrol system includes
parts such as the carburetor , the ignition sys-
tem and th e fuel tank. Where a warrantable
conditionexists,Poulanwillrepairyoursmall
off--roadengine atnocostto you.Expenses
covered under warranty include diagnosis,
partsandlabor.MANUFACTURER’SWAR-
RANTY COVERAGE: If any em issions re-
lated part on your engine (as listed under
Emissions Contr olWarr an ty Part s List ) is de-
fective o radefect inthematerials orworkman-
ship o ftheenginecauses thefailureof suchan
emission related part, the part will be repaired
or replaced by Poulan. OWNER’S WAR-
RANTY RESPONSIBILITIES: As thesmall
off--road engine owner, you are responsible
for the performance of the required mainte-
nancelistedinyourinstructionmanual.Pou-
lan recommends that you retain all receipts
covering maintenance on your small off--
road engine, but Poulan cannot deny war-
rantysolelyforthelackofreceipts orforyour
failure to ensure the performance of all
scheduled maintenance. As the small off--
roadengineowner,youshouldbeawarethat
Poulan may deny you warranty coverage if
your small off--road engineor apart ofit has
failed duetoabuse,neglect, im propermain-
tenance, unapproved modifications, or the
use of parts not made or approved by the
