■ Engine Oil
Use an oil of the viscosity appropriate for the air
temperature range expected until the next oil change
interval.
Engine crankcase
■ Changing the Engine Oil and Filter
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage.
Change the engine oil more frequently if the tractor is
used in extremely demanding conditions:
●Extremely dusty conditions
●Frequent slow- or low-speed operation.
●Frequent short trips
1. Run the engine to warm up the engine oil.
2. Park the tractor on a level surface.
3. Raise the hood.
4. Remove the side panel on the right side of the engine.
5. Place an engine oil pan beneath the engine oil drain
plug.
(A) Drain plug
●When draining away the engine oil that is still hot,
stay clear of the hot engine oil and other
components to avoid burn.
6. Remove the drain plug by turning counterclockwise.
7. Fully drain the oil away from the drain plug.
8. Wipe away dirt and dust from around the oil filter.
(B) Oil filter
●Carefully clean the areas surrounding the dipstick before
removing the dipstick.
9. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it.
