I have a Cub Cadet LTX 1040 with 42" U.S. timing belt that snapping off 2 mounting legs on both of it's spindles. So I replaced both spindles with brand new one and before I ran it I checked both spindles to make sure everything was straight and true, yet both spindles snapped one mounting leg off each spindle the very first day. Any ideas on how to fix this problem from repeating itself or any idea how to convert my base to one that runs without the timing belt for I think it is the problem, to much torque on spindles that are not made the same way originals ones were?
