Ch3nge Engine Oil
While engine isstill warm, drain oil from crankcase.Refill
with recommendedgrade.See ChangingEngineOff.
Oil Cylinder Bore
* Removespark plug. Squirt about 1 tablespoon of clean
engine oil intothe cylinder. Coverspark plug hole with
rag.Pull recoil handleslowly to distribute oil. Avoid spray
from spark plug hole.
* installspark plug. DONOTconnect spark plug wire.
Protect Pump
To protect the pump from damagecaused by mineral
deposits or freezing, usePumpSaver,Mode] 6039, to treat
pump. This prevents freezedamageand lubricates pistons
and seals.

Other Storage Tips
1. DONOTstore fuel from one seasonto another unless it
hasbeentreated asdescribed in Protect FuelSystem.

Replacefuel container if it starts to rust. Rust and/or dirt
in fuel cancauseproblems if it's usedwith this unit.
Coverunit with a suitable protective cover that does not
retain moisture.
